S1 safety shoes certified compliant with EN ISO 20345:2022 represent one of the most widespread protection levels for indoor work in dry environments. Compared to the basic class, S1 shoes add antistatic properties to reduce electrostatic charge buildup and heel energy absorption to limit fatigue during long working days. With the EN ISO 20345:2022 update, outsole hydrocarbon resistance (FO) becomes optional rather than mandatory. Some models are also certified according to EN ISO 20345:2022+A1:2024, which introduces further technical clarifications and updates.
Kapriol S1 safety shoes are particularly suitable for craftsmen, electricians, mechanics and industrial operators working in indoor environments on dry surfaces, where no additional protection against moisture or sole perforation is required.
