Additional requirements
Kapriol safety and work footwear is available with various additional requirements in compliance with EN ISO 20345:2011 and EN ISO 20345:2022, EN ISO 20347:2012 and EN ISO 20347:2022, including the amendment EN ISO 20345:2022/A1:2024. These supplementary certifications go beyond the basic protection classes (S1, S3, etc.) and indicate specific tested and validated performance levels, designed to address the concrete hazards present in different work environments.
From resistance to hydrocarbons (FO) to thermal insulation against cold (CI), from resistance to water penetration (WR) to resistance to contact heat from high-temperature surfaces (HRO), each requirement addresses a specific risk encountered on construction sites, in workshops or industrial settings. Additional attributes such as penetration resistance (P, PL, PS) protect the foot from nails and sharp objects, while the slip-resistance certifications SR and SRC ensure grip on wet or oily surfaces.
Selecting footwear with the correct additional requirement means tailoring protection to the actual risk, ensuring safe working conditions in any environment.
