S3 safety shoes compliant with EN ISO 20345:2022 represent one of the most complete safety classes for professional use, offering an advanced level of protection for complex work environments, both indoor and outdoor.
This work shoe integrates a safety toecap resistant to impacts up to 200 Joules and crushing up to 15 kN, antistatic properties, heel energy absorption and an anti-perforation insert, with a more precise classification based on material type and performance. The upper, made according to the new WPA (Water Penetration and Absorption) standard, ensures protection against water penetration and absorption. Some S3 safety shoe models are also certified according to the updated EN ISO 20345:2022+A1:2024 standard, which introduces further clarifications and technical updates to safety requirements and testing methodologies.
