Derby Mesh work shoes are lightweight and breathable safety shoes from the Light Work Kapriol line, featuring a mesh and suede leather upper that guarantees maximum breathability, making them ideal for warmer months and indoor work environments.

ESD certification ensures the dissipation of electrostatic charges, perfect for those working in contact with electronic components and electronically controlled machinery. The padded tongue and collar offer a comfortable fit, while the toe reinforcement and double-density polyurethane sole guarantee protection and grip.

Certified S3S FO SR ESD according to the EN ISO 20345:2022+A1:2024 standard, Derby Mesh low safety shoes combine lightness, breathability, and dynamic style for every profession. They are also available in a version with a leather upper.

Light safety toe cap

Particularly lightweight composite toe cap that provides high thermal insulation and total foot protection in the event of objects falling from above, from impacts of up to 200J, which is equivalent to the energy caused by a stone of 10kg from a height of 2m.

Synthetic material insole

Synthetic puncture-resistant insole: lighter and more flexible than a steel insole, it protects the entire surface of the plant of the foot  providing greater comfort in all conditions.

PU-PU Sole

Polyurethane gives the sole lightness and flexibility. It has shock-absorbing features that guarantee high comfort for the entire shoe. The double injection of polyurethane makes it possible to obtain dual-coloured or dual-density soles. Polyurethane is injected onto the upper by means of special moulds: these are called ‘injected soles’ or simply ‘injected’.

Work shoes with antistatic properties that allow the controlled passage of low-voltage currents, dissipating the electrostatic charges accumulated by the operator during work activities and reducing the risk of ignition in environments with the presence of flammable or explosive substances.

FO - Resistance of the sole to hydrocarbons

Work shoes equipped with soles designed to resist prolonged contact with oily substances and hydrocarbons without undergoing structural alterations. The laboratory test involves immersing the compound in Trimethylpentane, verifying that the swelling and increase in volume of the sole do not exceed 12%, thus ensuring the stability and durability of the shoe over time. This requirement is mandatory for work footwear according to the 2011 standard, while it becomes additional and optional for the 2022 standard.

WPA - Upper resistance to water penetration and assorption

Safety shoes equipped with an upper resistant to both water penetration and absorption. The test separately evaluates the amount of water that penetrates through the material and that absorbed by the upper structure after prolonged contact with water.
