Zenith 3D Vacuum Vortex is the new Kapriol multi-material diamond blade that integrates two cutting-edge manufacturing technologies into a single tool: vacuum brazing (Vacuum Brazed) and Zenith 3D diamond distribution.

High-temperature vacuum brazing (850ยฐโ€“1,100ยฐC), in the absence of oxygen, keeps up to 75% of the diamonds exposed (compared to 20-30% for traditional blades), anchoring them to the steel with an extremely strong bond. Production is also cobalt-free: Cobalt Free technology ensures greater operator safety and a more sustainable supply chain, while Vortex technology reduces overheating.

The Zenith 3D Vacuum Vortex Laser diamond blade is the versatile solution for every construction site: it performs on gas saws, electric cut-off saws, bench saws, and floor saws. With the same blade, it is possible to cut asphalt, green and cured concrete, reinforced concrete, brick, granite, stone, and refractories.

A single Vortex blade replaces 3 or 4 traditional cutting blades: for the user, this means a lower cost per cut, time savings, and less effort, without having to choose the right blade for each type of material. Compared to a traditional premium-quality blade, this innovative diamond blade offers a 50-100% higher cutting speed and a 2 to 3 times longer lifespan: maximum productivity, zero interruptions even in the most demanding conditions.

Zenith 3D technology relies on a particular geometric configuration of the diamond grains that improves the durability and performance of the diamond tool between 30% and 70%.

In conventional tool manufacture, cutting speed and tool life are two inversely proportional factors. All manufacturers in the past have aimed to produce diamond tools that combine these two parameters.

 

Zenith 3D Evolution has surpassed the limit imposed by old technologies by achieving exceptional speed and tool life performance, the result of huge investment in research and in advanced, automated production systems, guaranteeing consistent production standards.

 

The uniform consumption of the diamond disc allows the tool to be constantly revived, maintaining maximum stability and almost totally eliminating overload and vibration to the operator, especially in manual applications.

Zenith Advantages

Vacuum Brazed technology is an advanced manufacturing process for high-performance diamond blades. The blade is subjected to a high-temperature vacuum brazing cycle (850ยฐโ€“1,100 ยฐC) with very short processing times. The absence of oxygen is crucial: it prevents oxidation and thermal degradation of the diamond, preserving the integrity of the grits.
Under these conditions, the titanium brazing alloy creates an extremely resistant chemical and metallurgical bond between the grain and the disc body, ensuring a much stronger anchoring compared to conventional methods and without the use of cobalt, for a safer working environment and a more sustainable production chain.
A key element is the coating effect: prior to brazing, each grit is coated with an ultra-thin metallic layer of just a few microns (titanium, tungsten, nickel) which allows the alloy to "grip" the diamond, which would otherwise be difficult to weld. The coating improves anchoring and reduces grit shedding, protects the diamond from high temperatures (acting as a thermal and chemical barrier, reducing graphitization), reduces micro-fractures from impacts, vibrations, and thermal shocks, promotes heat dissipation, and increases the stability, reliability, and lifespan of the tool.
Thanks to this process, the diamonds remain exposed for 3/4 of their height, significantly increasing the cutting capacity of the blade.
