Anchorage points are the elements that are fastened directly to solid and secure structures and allow the operator to clip onto them using suitable PPE. To fix an anchorage
point correctly, qualified personnel must identify the best position to establish the required breaking load. Anchorage points are divided into:
- Permanent anchorage points: complying with EN 795A standard requirements
- Temporary anchorage points: complying with EN 795B standard requirements
1. The anchor beam must be positioned inside an opening and fixed by the adjustable bracket
2. The operator connects the fall arrester to the beam anchoring point
3. The beam has two anchor points for when it is used when working on double rope: a ring for connecting the fall arrester, a ring for connecting the work rope

The current legislation requires that each equipment must be subjected to periodic inspections:
- Before, during and after use, the user must check the PPE conditions and integrity through a visual inspection after each use
- At least every 12 months, PPE must be subjected to mandatory periodic checks and inspections by competent personnel authorized by the manufacturing company
Each PPE is accompanied by a manual and identity card that must be kept for the entire use duration of the product and filled in with the periodic inspections data.
